Our first webinar on shower enclosures

Home » Our first webinar on shower enclosures

On 16 March, we held our first webinar on shower enclosures. The event, hosted at the Gagliardini showroom in the province of Ancona, brought together professionals both in person and online for a practical and stimulating discussion. It was the perfect opportunity to share expertise and explore the role of shower enclosures within a design project.

An event that brought together in-person and online participants

The webinar on shower enclosures, entitled “The Shower Enclosure Handbook: A Practical Guide for Informed Design and Selection”, proved a greater success than expected. Over 1,800 participants, both online and in person, contributed to a lively and interactive discussion. The event took place at the Gagliardini showroom, in the province of Ancona, and offered professionals three CPD credits, enhancing the educational value of the session. This hybrid format enabled us to reach a wide audience, creating synergy between architects, designers and Relax itself. The central theme was understanding how to transform the shower enclosure into a key element of the design, using clear and verifiable criteria.

A guided tour of types and parameters

During the three-hour webinar, we explored the most important factors to consider when choosing a shower enclosure. Not all products are the same, and every project requires specific considerations. A total of 22 criteria were presented, such as the presence of wall-mounted elements, watertightness, entry space and many others. These elements are fundamental to answering the most frequently asked questions from professionals: which type should be chosen based on requirements? Why is one type not the same as another? Through practical examples and case studies, participants were able to better understand how to translate theory into concrete design choices, reducing errors and optimising time and costs.

Methods for optimising space

One of the most popular aspects of the webinar on shower enclosures was the in-depth look at space-optimisation techniques. In bathroom design, every centimetre counts: we demonstrated how the choice of shower enclosure can influence the feel of the space and its day-to-day usability. This discussion enabled participants to discover new solutions and innovations in the sector. The aim was clear: to provide practical and theoretical tools for creating more functional, attractive and durable bathrooms.

Case studies and mistakes to avoid

One of the most engaging moments was the analysis of real-life examples of projects carried out without taking into account the specifications of a shower enclosure. The mistakes, illustrated with photos and captions, highlighted the practical consequences of hasty or ill-considered decisions. At the same time, we presented bespoke solutions and alternatives, demonstrating how our approach can resolve common issues. This part of the webinar on shower enclosures provided us with interesting insights, as it transformed theoretical concepts into tangible lessons, offering useful tools to avoid recurring problems and improve the overall quality of the project. There was no shortage of examples, thanks in part to our tools, such as the configurator for architects.

Conclusion

Our first webinar was a resounding success in terms of both attendance and content. We were able to share expertise, listen to industry professionals and initiate a constructive dialogue based on shared experiences and our own know-how. We are delighted with the results and ready to turn these insights into even more effective tools to support architects and designers in their day-to-day decisions.
